Keenland to provide content for Stan James It was reported this week that an important deal was closed between Gibraltar-based land and online bookmaker Stan James plc and the world's largest thoroughbred auction company and world-class race course Keeneland Association. Based on the deal, Stan James and its Oregon'licensed pari mutuel horse racing brand Racing2Day.com will get Keenland content for the 2011 Keeneland Spring Meet. With this deal, Keenland's racing program promotion will be expanded, and the size of US Tote pools boosted, but it will also see the Keeneland product presented into new markets. According to Stan James CEO Denis Kelly, "Stan James has its roots firmly in horse racing and we are thrilled to form a partnership with a world-class racing brand such as Keeneland, which is renowned for the quality of its horses, diversity of its clientele and its state-of-the-art facilities." On the other side, it was stated by Rogers Beasley, Vice President of Racing for Keeneland: "Given its tremendous history and horse racing legacy, Stan James and its licensed US brand Racing2Day are the perfect partners for Keeneland to expand their product into new territories while showcasing the quality of racing on offer here in Kentucky."
