Bet365 and Exponential-e Close a Deal

Network provider to supply Bet365 with new corporate network According to a new deal closed between Exponential-e and internet gaming firm Bet365, the network and applications provider will provide Bet 365 with an "extremely fast, high-bandwidth corporate network" which should help it manage the big data amounts generated by Bet365 In-Play betting system. This system allows users to bet on the final result of a sports event while it is ongoing, so it relies on a continuous stream of real-time information to users, at the same time being able to receive and process a large amount of incoming customer data. Thanks to the deal, Bet365's two technology centers will connect into Exponential-e's network and create three sites operating as a single system, "which means that its business has an added safety net of immediate recovery should any point fail," it was specified by Mukesh Bavisi, Managing Director, Exponential-e. On the other side, Chris Tolson, Chief Platform Architect, bet365 said: "In-Play betting is a game of low latency and high availability on a massive scale. We need partners that can help us deliver data in near real-time whilst offering the scale necessary to meet the demand for our services. Exponential-e fit the bill."
