Enhancement deal closed with William Hill
This week's news reported of a new deal in the industry – the one closed between Racing Post and UK bookmaker William Hill, who have introduced an improvement for the Racing Post's popular iPhone App, which now provides users with an insight into the Racing Post's news, tips and data, offers them an opportunity to decide on which horse to back, place a bet by tapping the William Hill odds on the race card, but also to use the Live Reporter function to follow the race.
The application can be found in iTunes Application Store, and in case you've already got the Racing Post app, it is possible to update it to the new version.
According to Mark Renshaw, Head of Online for Racing Post: “We've seen over 200,000 downloads of our free app since we launched and the feedback has been excellent. When we surveyed our iPhone app users earlier this year, betting through the app was requested and we soon undertook a process to find a suitable betting partner. Over the last few months we've worked hard with William Hill to develop, test and refine the process and it has impressed everyone who's seen it.”
On the other side, William Hill Online official Jamie Hart commented: “There's nothing else like it. It really means that the concept of mobile betting has reached a new level, we believe it will be a huge hit with punters and iPhone users.'
