German Handball Gets New Sponsor

Bet-At-Home.com inks sponsorship deal A new sponsorship deal has come up between a sports and online gambling industries' members, in this particular case between a member of the Betclic-Everest group, online gambling site Bet-At-Home.com which will sponsor a German Toyota Handball Bundesliga (HBL) team Rhein-Neckar Löwen. The deal will be valid throughout the remainder of the 2010 season. The partnership may be extended to the next season, and the agreement also proscribes that Bet-At-Home logo will appear on the team jersey for its games in the HBL and Velux EHF Champions League, and that it will receive advertising space on the court and on perimeter LED advertising boards at the SAP Arena, where Rhein-Neckar Löwen play their home games. According to Bet-At-Home's spokesman Claus Retschitzegger, the Rhein-Neckar Löwen (Lions) is a friendly, young, dynamic team, so his company positively identifies with such qualities. He added that "the cooperation is also aligned very well with our existing sponsorships and will support all the future promotional activities of our company in Germany." On the other side, Rhein-Neckar Löwen managing director Thorsten Storm said that the team and their new sponsor have the same ambitious future goals. Apart from the Lions, Bet-At-Home also sponsors another two HBL teams, and it is a premium partner in sponsoring the Velux EHF Champions League.
