Tote Horse Racing On EurosportBET.Fr

GTECH G2's MarginMaker joins horse racing to other sports betting offerings

Tote racing is the latest addition to EurosportBET's French branch EurosportBET.fr. The new MarginMaker platform powered by GTECH G2, joins together horse racing and other sports betting products offered on EurosportBET. SPS Betting (which also runs EurosportBET.co.uk), was one of the first to take advantage of the French online gambling market opening, by launching EurosportBET.fr. It also falls into a group of very few operators who received license to take fixed odds wagers on sports.

In case of EurosportBET.fr, the company's programmers decided to exploit G2 MarginMaker's public APIs in order to develop an original version of the site, which started taking wagers on football, tennis and rugby in June.

In regards to this, Director of Program Management at EurosportBET Frederic Tardieu explained: "The Sports Betting Team at GTECH G2 supported us in integrating the new PMC tote system on our MarginMaker engine, from early specification stages to the move to production."

Paul Mears, VP Sports Betting at GTECH G2 on the other side stated: "We're proud of MarginMaker's capacity to integrate various sports betting products so seamlessly and take any bet, across any channel for any business model. We look forward to helping EurosportBET maintain cutting edge sports betting products in both France and the UK."

As a product developed by Finsoft sports betting software crew at GTECH G2, MarginMaker is a platform which provides complete end-to-end sports betting package, and it offers fixed odds, pools and spread betting on all sports, which can be placed via call centre, internet, mobile and retail. The platform operates in a number of countries, such as the UK and Ireland, Singapore, Spain, Chile, Serbia and Romania. It has proved capable of dealing in practically any sport and almost any kind of bet throughout the world.

EurosportBET.fr is the commercial brand of SPS SA, a subsidiary of Eurosport, fully owned by TF1, a Paris- and Alderney-based group famous for operating the largest European free TV channel and covering the entire audiovisual industry.
