Bwin takes over Spanish company from Betbull Bwin Interactive ended its Spanish cooperation with sports betting firm Betbull by buying from it Winners Apuestas, which is licensed in Madrid, operating from 6 locations, and with sale points at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. According to a Betbull spokesman, this move will release the company from the funding obligations required by Winners Apuestas as it spreads throughout Spain, permitting it to fully focus on its base operations in Germany, aiming at further expansion and development with eagerly awaited liberalized laws. Still, Bwin remains a majority shareholder in Betbull.
