Unibet And France Pari In B2B Deal

New sports betting service to be provided to French licence holders The major European online gambling group Unibet and newly French licensed operator France Pari have moved into the recently liberalised French internet gambling space in a business-to-business partnership. The agreement requires Unibet to provide online sports betting to French punters through France Pari, which in return will provide Unibet's French customers with pools-based sports betting products. Petter Nylander, chief executive of Unibet said: “We are very happy to announce that, although we have not yet been granted a French licence, we can still provide our customers with a sport betting product ahead of the upcoming World Cup in football.” Unibet recently inked an agreement with Ongame for poker (see previous InfoPowa report) and has negotiated a letter of intent to combine its horse racing liquidity with French horse betting website Zeturf. In a statement issued this week, Unibet advises that its internet poker and pari-mutuel horse racing betting should be live on the French-dedicated website Unibet.fr by the end of the third quarter 2010, subject to the acquisition of the appropriate French licenses.
