Isildur1 Making Money Again

Feb 22, 2010
Mystery Swede is back on the Full Tilt nosebleeds in a big way After several desultory appearances since the beginning of this (February) month (see previous InfoPowa reports) the high risk, exciting player Isildur1 was back to winning large amounts this week on the Full Tilt high stakes online poker tables. Despite taking a few knocks earlier in the month after grinding up his bankroll and then unsuccessfully going after high stakes gaming victories, Isildur has maintained his action. This week he moved to the $100/$200 NLHE and $200/$400 PLO tables and mixed it up with some of the Internet's high rollers. Notable victories have included winning $327 000 from players like URnotINDanger2, Di "Urindanger" Dang and Andrew Kostritsyn. Then came a setback against Isaac Haxton that depleted Isildur1's bankroll by $90 000, leaving him with almost $250 000. With characteristic boldness, the Swede put it all on the line in an exciting heads up exchange on the $200/$400 NLHE tables against Justin Bonomo. Playing across up to seven tables at a time, the duo went at it for almost 2 000 hands before Bonomo had to retreat due to one of his backers withdrawing, leaving Isildur1 a cool $567 000 in profit. Bonomo played against others following his departure from the Isildur1 action, and by doing this he managed to recoup some of his losses. The big win brings Isildur1's bankroll up to over $800 000, feeding speculation that nosebleed fans may be in for another exciing round of matches featuring this audacious player and his remarkable swings in fortune.
