    This is a pretty controversial one...

     

    Sharbinee Allawee Ramli is a goalkeeper and he plays in Malaysia for Terengganu. In the game against Kedah first he made an error that didn't, fortunately for his team, result in a goal conceded. But then... then he volleyed a corner kick cross right into his own net!

     

    The manager, an Englishman, immediately took him off the pitch and openly accused him of helping the opponents. Here's the video:

     

    I tend to agree with the manager, that can't be just an honest mistake.

     

    However, if you watch what he has done during the Cup final last year then you might think that he's just one of the weakest goalies in the world: http://youtu.be/JB-hsr2JQFA

    He caught it and let it drop into the goal..I would say that was a very dodgy move.  Even in that second video, if you look at the "slomo-acrep"  (my nickname for "slow motion action replay"), you can see he has the ball in his hand and flings it upwards as though he missed it.

     

    He is a cheater for sure - well thats how it looks to me.

    I think he's a cheater; I think he would have to be a really REALLY bad goal keeper to make such mistakes. Maybe if we could see it from many different angles, maybe he is an embarrassement for goal keepers.
