  • Southampton ended Arsenal's unbeaten run and it was a deserved win for the Saints on the debut of their new head coach. Liverpool won the derby, Xherdan Shaqiri made the difference as he came off the bench to score a double in the second half.

    Brighton 1 - 2 Chelsea

    Southampton 3 - 2 Arsenal

    Liverpool 3 - 1 Manchester Utd

  • Yeah, great performance by the Saints under the new manager, seems to me they're too good of a squad to be involved in the relegation battle, as of now, especially up front.

4 of the 5 goals was scored by headers and particularly the Inggs couple of goals were superb.

Do I have to say anything about United!?!

There's no bigger of a joke from the European top sides in the last few years despite spending a fortune filling that squad, 'good job by Mourinho', enjoy to all United fans who still supporting him.

  • Mourinho should leave I think, you can't keep a player like Pogba on the bench after you have spent almost 100 million pounds to get him.

  • you can't keep a player like Pogba on the bench after you have spent almost 100 million pounds to get him.

The words of wisdom Johnny, I thought the same exact thing...didn't even have to discuss how good of a player he is..if you paid 100mill - just play him then!

    Mourinho should leave I think,

like you have known something in advance... ;)

  • like you have known something in advance... ;)

Haha, well, I did feel something :) However, he did not leave, like I said, he was sacked. The difference between the two is about 18 million pounds in his pockets ;)

I heard about 22mill pounds but whatever the exact amount is...I don't blame him really...anyone would of wait to be sacked instead of living themselves really...if the club is stupid enough to allow such a compensation clause in the contract...but don't get me wrong...Mo away is a priceless thing :)

  • What we can expect from Man Utd until the end of this season? I blame Jose for playing  defensive football. For me Pogba is not a serious player, it would be good for Man Utd to sell him and buy player like Kros, with more good passes. Interesting times for Man are coming

Pogba is a fantastic player, he has already proven that at Juventus and with the French national team as well. He needs a manager that can motivate him I think.

Jose is not the only one to blame..maybe not even the main one.

United high floors management knew what kind of manager he is and why they appointed him at first place...and then a long extension for which now they paying crazy compensations to him.

The club is a mess all the way since the sir Alex era and we couldn't blame only the 3 consequently sacked managers for that....not at all.

To be honest I've had never been too huge of a fan of Pogba ..or Lukaku..think United overpaid for both of them(as for many others by the way)..but one thing is for sure they could both be a lot more effective than in the Mo era...that's proven.

  • We finally saw a different United yesterday without Mourinho's too defensive and over complicated tactics and you know what...those players can in fact play!

I'm not tend to get overexcited now cause it's still just the first game and whoever have been granted  the job it would still have a positive effect over the players after their performance mainly psychologically..but still it's a step in the right direction.

  • Liverpool are unstoppable, they hammered Arsenal and extended their advantage over Tottenham, who got stunned in London by Wolves. Claudio Ranieri grabbed his second victory at Fulham, while Cardiff pulled off a big upset at Leicester.

Arsenal defending looked ridiculous at times, it's not about taking something from that game in the form Liverpool is in right now but at least they could of save themselves the embarrassment conceding 5, a bit unlucky for the first one but one of those days I guess.

And Spurs..they're just Spurs!..the best team you would see that never wins anything... they just can't handle the pressure of the expectations.

    Manchester City 2 - 1 Liverpool

  • It's been a few years since I've had enjoyed so much watching the FA cup early round games..there's been a few upsets but maybe the most impressive one was at the Fulham - Oldham game.

The Oldham manager is in fact their fan since a kid and I don't know the whole story but he supposed to travel for this game as a supporter :), well they hired him as an interim manager and the team won their last two in the league and now that..great story really.

Wolves could trouble Liverpool tonight especially if Klopp rests some of his starting 11 and I suppose he will do so, probably it would be an intriguing game that one.
