That would be a huge deal for Palmeiras and Brazilian league. I always thought Pirlo would go to the MSL.

This would be great deal for Palmeiras.Pirlo showed in Juventus that he is even in this age one of the best midfielders in the world.

Will be a strange transfer this or at least for me. Usually when a player goes to US (especially at Pirlo's age)  to finish his career he stays till the end. The quality of the football in Brazil is higher but I doubt that he's going to earn more, strange.

Who knows, every player would love to feel atmosphere on stadiums in Brazil, where the football is not sport, but religion. That can be the reason why Pirlo could leave US.

I have no idea how much difference of salary there is between MSL and Serie A ?...but remember the exodus from Brazilian players out of Europe back to their homeland, I am sure money played a role too.

You can find the MLS salary list here:

I think Pirlo doesn't care about money. He gets a lot of money from his sponsors.

I considere that Pirlo is real romantic in football and money is the last thing he is thinking of,especially in his age.

Common guys - the money always matters
How many other players you know which have make such a switch?
Here is his actual salary from the Gregjo's list:
  2,315,694.00$
Nobody run away  from that. I guess he might have some other issues with the club or in US that we might event didn't know about. Still not sure that this move is going to happen anyway.

Hope that there will be some exiting new talents for scouts to look after, but there's always someone.
