Every year for 157 years, Oxford and Cambridge boat race is held on the Thames.
This year saw a protester, who is against "elitism", manage to stop the 158th race by swimming in the middle of the Thames. You can view the video
The race was stopped when the swimmer was spotted in the water. The race was re-run but soon after the re-start there was a clash of oars and Oxford lost one of their paddles. A restart was called for but the umpire would not restart the race.
If that wasn't enough drama, after Cambridge romped home to win, one of the Oxford rowers collapsed in the boat and was rushed off to hospital.
Who would have thought that a boat race could have so much drama in it!
