NHL Goalie blooper

Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick, one of the best keepers in the league, allowed a terrible goal on Monday against the NY Rangers. Defenseman Ryan McDonagh took the puck off the defensive-zone faceoff and just threw it forward because the Kings were on a power-play. And here's what happened:

McDonagh didn’t even realize he scored. “I didn’t watch it go down (the ice),” McDonagh said. “I didn’t know what happened at all. Still trying to get the full story. I was just kind of looking over at our bench, and guys started throwing their sticks up in the air.”

Oh, only a lapse in concentration and that's what happens.

Wow, unbelievable! Well, I guess that happens, even to the best. I really hope that he will get over it soon. Those things can really make a huge impact on the player (his confidence).

Yes, they lost it 3-1.

And here goes another really weird goal! Hint: watch out for the goal keeper's pants :)

Ouch, definitely one of the most unfortunate goals I've seen. He should get tighter pants from now on :)

Oh, that was unlucky for them. If it wasn't so slippery, he might have stopped himself. ;) 

It really made me wonder about odds... What are the odds of puck ending up in his pants... He should have bought a lottery ticket...
