How to not dunk
« on: January 01, 2010, 09:12:48 PM »
so i was playing basketball with a couple mates at 1am on these shitty courts and we were stuffing around for a bit, and then some1 came up with the genius idea of getting me to dunk.

Now i'm a 5"5 shortarse asian, so the idea was that i jump off my mate's back to dunk.  So after a few goes, i get the hang of it and complete a couple successful dunks and we're clowning around laughing about it.

Then some1 suggests stepping it up a bit and throwing me an alley.

So we set it up, i run and jump off my mate's back and i lose my concentration trying to track where the ball is.  So i end up grabbing the ring in a sideways motion and i couldn't hold on and the motion swings me sideways.  I fall pretty hard on my left side and my arm goes completely numb.

Next morning i go for an xray, there's a fracture in my left wrist.

That's  gonna leave a mark!!

Hey Tim? I am only 5'10 and cant come close to dunking on a 10 foot rim either. So what i did was get one of those adjustable rims and lower it to about 8 feet and now i look like Shaq and Lebron. he he

Hope it wasn't your poker playing hand Tim. Feel better soon!!
