    Maybe Goffin deserved to win the tournament after those wins but Dimitrov defeated him couple of times in London so we couldn't say it's accidental either.

     

    Still not sure Grigor would of win the title if he had to face some of Federer or Nadal in the deciding stages even in this kind of form but only he could overcome his demons I guess.

     

    That is his major win so far and hopefully it would give him the confidence that he could beat anybody because that's what he needs I think.

    I think Dimitrov deserved to win the title. He did show the best tennis overall. Whether or not he would beat Nadal or Federer... we cannot know that. At least he had to play all top players to win the title.

     

    Let's not forget that Nadal won US Open this year playing only two (barely) seeded players in the semifinal and the final. All big champions have, aside from skill, a bit of luck and that's all part of the game.

     

    It will be nice to see if Dimitrov will finally be able to build on this big win.
