LaLiga: Malaga vs Real Madrid preview
Real Madrid play for the title at Malaga on Sunday, victory or a draw at La Rosaleda would guarantee the Blancos the title regardless of what Barcelona do at home against Eibar. Real Madrid won the reverse fixture 2-1 in January but they were unable to beat Malaga at all last season, they recorded a goalless draw at home and a 1-1 draw away. However, Real Madrid are undefeated in 15 of their last 16 away matches against Malaga in all competitions. Another interesting fact is that Malaga would gain 1 million euros if Real Madrid win the title due to a clause in the contract which saw Isco join the Blancos from Malaga in 2013. Malaga have been in very good form lately, they have not lost in five matches and won four of them. Last time out they secured a 2-2 draw at Real Sociedad and they are eleventh in the league table, with no chance of climbing higher than that. Central defender Martin Demichelis will probably be given at least a few minutes of game time as this will be his last competitive match before retiring from football. Youssef En-Nesyri is suspended for this game, while Zdravko Kuzmanovic and Bakary Kone are injured. Real Madrid have one hand on the title and it is hard to believe that they would choke at Malaga, but stranger things have happened in the history of football. This week they secured a comfortable 4-1 victory at Celta Vigo and moved three points clear of Barcelona at the top of the table. That was their fifth consecutive league victory, in fact they won all their league matches after the 3-2 home defeat against Barcelona in April. Gareth Bale and Dani Carvajal remain injured and won't be able to play on Sunday. Probable line-ups: Malaga: Kameni - Torres, Hernandez, Llorente, Ricca - Recio, Camacho - Keko, Fornals, Jony - Ramirez Real Madrid: Bravo - Danilo, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo - Modric, Casemiro, Kroos - Isco, Benzema, Ronaldo My prediction: Real Madrid to win 1-0. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Malaga win - 11.00 Draw - 7.00 Real Madrid win - 1.22
