Back Serie A: AC Milan vs Juventus preview

The two top sides in the Italian Serie A face each other on Saturday evening as AC Milan host Juventus at the San Siro. There were just two games played by each team in the Serie A season but this is still a derby no matter how early in the season it's played. Defending champions Juventus are the favourites but claiming the title once again might not be too easy for Massimiliano Allegri and his men.

The Juventus head coach makes his return to Milan for the first time after being sacked in January. AC Milan started the season well under new coach Filippo Inzaghi but the match against Juventus will be the first real test for them.

Fernando Torres could make his debut for his new club, even though he will most likely start the match on the bench. Daniele Bonera is suspended, so Adil Rami could feature in the middle of the defence alongside Alex. Juventus should field the same starting eleven that achieved the Champions League victory against Malmo on Wednesday.

Probable starting line-ups:

AC Milan: Lopez - De Sciglio, Rami, Alex, Abate - Muntari, Poli, De Jong, Honda, Menez - Bonaventura

Juventus: Buffon - Caceres, Bonucci, Chiellini, Evra - Lichtsteiner, Asamoah, Pogba, Marchisio - Tevez, Llorente

My prediction: Juventus to win 2-1.

Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

AC Milan win - 11/5 Draw - 23/10 Juventus win - 5/4
