Jose Mourinho is preparing for a major squad clean-up as several players seem out of favour. The most prominent of them is German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, who was not present at the team's training session on Thursday. The 31-year-old midfielder has announced his retirement from international duty with Germany after having made just 13 Premier League appearances last season. Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with the German defender and Manchester United will probably be ready to sell him this summer.
Adnan Januzaj, Paddy McNair, Andreas Pereira, Axel Tuanzebe and Will Keane were also absent from the first-team's training session on Thursday, a fact that could indicate that Jose Mourinho considers them surplus to requirements. Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson did not take part either, but they are currently injured. Meanwhile, Juventus have accepted Manchester United's bid for Paul Pogba, according to The Guardian. The bid is worth 110 million euro plus add-ons.
If the fee is confirmed Pogba will become the most expensive transfer in the history of football, surpassing Gareth Bale's move to Real Madrid which was worth 100 million euro. Paul Pogba has won four Serie A titles in four seasons with Juventus after having joined them from the Red Devils in 2012. Manchester United have signed three players this summer: defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal, striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free transfer and the attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund.
Manchester United are 10/3 at Bet365 to win the Premier League next season.

Sharpe you have to look it at this way - it is all bussiness, it is all about money dude! Like, Manchester United got 90 millions of euros from selling Ibrahomovic shirts in only a week! That is kind of bussiness they are about. Doesn't matter if they are not winning titles, they are still most popular team in England,...

That is kind of bussiness they are about. Doesn't matter if they are not winning titles, they are still most popular team in England, and with Pogba, who is only 22 years old they can get hundreds of millions of euros via marketing. They didn't let Pogba leave for free, he left himself, since probably Juventus offered him first team status which United didn't at that time. Pogba is overrated, but he is world-wide popular player, and with him who can only advance in next few years Manchester United can get only stronger. Not to mention that this is still just a rumor, wait for official statements from all three sides.

So United admitted finally - there are real transfer idiots and will pay 110 mill euros ( highest amount spent in the history) for a guy who they left to leave for free few seasons back!!! Not to mention the guy don't even worth half of that.!!! IDIOTS!! It was one of the few mistakes that Sir Alex have made back there...

It was one of the few mistakes that Sir Alex have made back there and just because of that they didn't have to spent so much on this hugely overrated player. To have so much cash is probably a good thing but not if you constantly throwing this funds in the toilet like United doing for the last 3 seasons. Half of those players who's Mourinho is ready to throw away are in fact decent players but don't be worry United fans they will buy similar substitutes for a 30-40 mill each, wise transfer policy - can't say nothing more.
