Premier League: Leicester City in bid for Bartosz Kapustka
Premier League reigning champions Leicester City have made an offer of 5.25 million pounds for 19-year-old Polish winger Bartosz Kapustka, according to Sky Sports sources. The youngster is one of the best prospects in European football at the moment and he played a star role in Poland's Euro 2016 campaign, especially in their opening match against Northern Ireland. Leicester had made an enquire to Cracovia, Kapustka's club, during Euro 2016, and have now returned with an official bid. This might be just the start of a bidding war though as several other Premier League clubs are interested in his signature, along with clubs in Spain, Germany and the Netherlands. Kaputska has made his debut for Poland last year in a match against Gibraltar, scoring a goal to celebrate the debut, and has managed to win 11 caps for his country since then. He started to play in the Polish top flight in the 2013-2014 season and he recorded 59 appearances and 6 goals for Cracovia since then. Leicester have signed Nampalys Mendy, Ron-Robert Zieler and Ahmed Musa so far this summer. Leicester City are 28/1 at Bet365 to win the Premier League title again next season.
