It's do or die time for Portugal in Euro 2016 Group F, they have to beat Hungary on Wednesday if they want to stay in the tournament. Both teams are unbeaten so far at Euro 2016, but the big difference between them is that Hungary won their opening match. Hungary can be certain of reaching the last 16 if they snatch a draw in this match, but they could go through even if they lose the match. Portugal might also go through in case of a draw, but they would depend heavily on other results.
Hungary have been the surprise package in Group F, they started with a 2-0 upset against Austria and then held Iceland to a 1-1 draw. Their only injury worry is Attila Fiola, who missed the match against Iceland, the right back has an ankle problem that might keep him on the sidelines again. Hungary have never beaten Portugal in 10 previous matches, and the last five competitive matches were all won by Ronaldo and company. In 2009 the two teams met in the World Cup qualifying play-off and Portugal won both matches, 1-0 at home and 3-0 away.
It's been a frustrating tournament for Portugal so far, they started with a 1-1 draw against Iceland and then were held to a goalless draw by Austria. Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty kick in that goalless match, adding even more frustration to an already exasperated team. Ronaldo complained about Iceland's style after the first match, then blamed bad luck, now there can't be any more excuses: they either win and qualify or don't win and most likely go home. Raphael Guerreiro and Andre Gomes are doubtful due to slight injuries.
Probable line-ups:
Hungary: Kiraly - Lang, Juhasz, Guzmics, Kadar - Gera - Dzsudzsak, Kleinheiser, Nagy, Nemeth - Szalai
Portugal: Patricio - Vieirinha, Pepe, Carvalho, Eliseu - Moutinho, Carvalho, Sanches - Quaresma, Ronaldo, Nani
My prediction: Portugal to win 2-0.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Oh, it was a crazy game that one, both teams could it won it but maybe the draw was the deserve finish in the end. The fact that the draw was enough for Hungary to win the group made them playing a bit safer in the last 15-20 mins of the second half. But in fact they could even still won it if that shot in the post deep...

I don't believe that anyone expected to see Hungary on top of the group after two rounds played. Well, that's where we are at. The impressive Hungarians have blown my low expectations out of the water and have been awarded with a spot in the Round of 16. I think there is a very good chance they rotate their squad tonight....

I don't think anyone but the most passionate Hungarian fans would have thought this possible. Portugal, on the other hand, have missed so many chances. Big problem for them is not having classic striker, or how people call it "classic 9". They rely on Ronaldo to score, whats in my opinion a lot of pressure. Portugal should break the curse and finally win today. For those who BELIEVE 11.0 odds on Hungary is out of its mind.
