Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri says they will not try to sign superstars this summer, insisting the club will only sign players who can "live with our family." The squad will need strengthening as Leicester City will also play in the Champions League next season after the unexpected Premier League triumph. That means they will have at least eight high-intensity games to cope with during the first part of the season, in addition to the Premier League matches.
During the team's post-season tour of Thailand Ranieri said that he will try to bring players that would adapt to the current squad mentality and spirit. "For us it's not so important to bring some superstars, it's important to bring the players that play with heart and with the soul," he said. "This was one of our secrets this season and for us it is important. For me it is important to have two players for each position because we have a lot competitions to do and it is important to be ready for each competition. The new players have to be able to play with us. I won't just accept any player. If they join us, they have to live with our family, the way we are."
The club also have other important improvements planned. "We already have plans to expand the stadium, including the land next to the stadium to do other businesses but that's not about football," Raniei said. "It's more for people in the city to be able to use our facility." Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, the owner's son, added that young Thai players could develop at Leicester: "I'd like to see Thailand secure their first ever World Cup berth in 10 years. We have a plan. It's up to the Thai kids, whether they can absorb the English tradition, the professionalism."

And why they should sign superstars? Ranieri makes a team from outsiders, most of whom unwanted in other PL teams a champions so I don't see any reason for them to sign "big time" payers who could break the perfect balance which the team all ready has. Instead they should concentrate of keeping their most important player...

I think its wright decision by Claudio Ranieri, because in every club where he was and where were a lot of stars he disn do well, in Roma, Inter, Monaco, Juventus...and some big star would ruin atmosphere in wardrobe. But its interesting nobody is mentioning if any of the big clubs are interested in Ranieri .

Nickname of Claudio Ranieri is the Thinkerman. It is given with treason.Ranieri is smart and knows that some superstar would cause bad atmosphere in the team.He will look to sign good players, that are willing to work hard and improve. They will spend lot of money, but I dont think they will sign any superstar.

Ofcourse he will not be chasing superstars. He didn't win Premier League with ones, but with team spirit and determination. I wont be suggesting or spreading rumors about who will/should join Leicester City this summer. Since they are in hotspot, medias are speculating a lot, connecting literally half of the football Europe...

But I wouldn't go that far and changing half of the starting eleven.
