Premier League: Sunderland vs Chelsea preview
Sunderland will try to break Chelsea's unbeaten run when they host the Premier League leaders at the Stadium of Light on Saturday evening. Last season the Black Cats pulled off a 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge and they were the first team to defeat Chelsea at home after no less than 78 games. This season Chelsea have gone 19 games unbeaten and are top of the table, six points clear of second-placed Southampton. Earlier this week the Blues crushed Schalke 5-0 in the Champions League to secure their passage to the knockout stage. Sunderland have recovered well from a crushing defeat at Southampton last month, they have only lost once since that match. Gus Poyet's side managed to climb to 14th position, three points clear of the relegation area, after beating Crystal Palace and earning draws against Everton and Leicester. Former Chelsea left-back Patrick van Aanholt won't be ready to play for the Black Cats as he is recovering from a dislocated shoulder, while Emanuele Giaccherini, Billy Jones and Ricky Alvarez remain out. It's also worth mentioning that Sunderland also beat Chelsea in the Capital One Cup last season. Probable line-ups: Sunderland: Pantilimon; Vergini, O'Shea, Brown, Reveillere; Cattermole, Larsson, Rodwell; Johnson, Wickham, Fletcher Chelsea: Courtois; Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Costa My prediction: Chelsea to win 2-0. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Sunderland win - 9/1 Draw - 17/4 Chelsea win - 4/11
