Arsenal star striker Alexis Sanchez has revealed he is afraid of suffering another injury, and that fear might be the cause of his not so great form of late. Sanchez had been in outstanding form between September and Octomber 2015, scoring 10 goals in six matches for Arsenal and the Chile national team. But then he suffered a hamstring injury in November, was out until January and only managed to score three goals since his return.
27-year-old Sanchez said: "Before my injury I was 100 per cent fit, I was feeling very well. After the injury I wanted to get back but it was hard. I had a setback and when I played I was scared I'd get injured again because the thing I like most in the world is playing football and when I can't play I feel sad."
His lack of consistency in front of goal also caused Arsenal to slip 11 points behind Premier League leaders Leicester, but the Gunners have a game in hand that could revive their title hopes. "I am never satisfied with what I do. I want to win the Premier League and the Champions League. I always want to win everything," Sanchez added. "If I lose I always go home sad, I can't sleep and that upsets me. Football is my life."
Arsenal visit West Ham on Saturday and Alexis Sanchez is 8/5 at Bet365 to score a goal in that match.

Alexis Sanchez is very good player , he say that he was 100 per cent fit before his injury, i think that is very "dangerous" situation for him , because what they can lost his strenght and that is not good . I hope that he will recovery from this injury and play soon as possible..

I feel for Alexis Sanchez. As a guy who few months back suffered a "dislocation of a knee", the mind part about injury is the worst. You lose confidence, you don't trust your body (in my case my own leg) and it can affect players by a longshot. But I don't have doubts if Alexis is going to be one of this cases. He is strong...

He is strong as a rock, his confidence has never been down since I recall him. Only thing he is missing is top-world striker who he and Ozil can work on, and lead Arsenal to the glory.

No doubt that Sanhez injury has had a big impact over the Arsenal season although I don't believe they would go and win the League even if he was fully fit all the time. Anyway it's hard to recover from such a bad injury and there's even mental consequences long after the physical recovery. He's just can't go in tackle...

Anyway it's hard to recover from such a bad injury and there's even mental consequences long after the physical recovery. He's just can't go in tackle at 100% percent without thinking what might happen and this makes huge difference in his game in the end, although he's fully recovered now.

English football is especially physical and many injures happen there. Arsenal is often shorthanded because of injuries of key players. We all remember when Taylor broke Eduardo's leg, Shawcross broke Ramsey's, It is normal to have some fear over your health but they are paid so high that they have to overcome it.

There are too much cases like this one, but few player's recognize what it is about, what's the problem because they are playing bad. In every duel they enter cautiously, then they lose the ball, and later they lose self-confidence. That's a tough thing for the players as the problem is in their head. Congratulations to...

Congratulations to Sanchez for admiting this, and wish him a fast recovery.
