Stoke City have tied forward Bojan Krkic to a new four-and-a-half-year contract. The 25-year-old former Barcelona player joined the Potters in 2014 after a spell at AS Roma and loan moves at AC Milan and Ajax Amsterdam. He misses the whole second half of last season due to a knee injury, so far he has 41 appearances and 10 goals for Stoke City.
Potters chief executive Tony Scholes said: "Bojan has made no secret of the fact that he now regards Stoke as his home in a football sense." Bojan said: "I am very happy and motivated. Stoke City gave me the opportunity to play in the most competitive league in the world, and I have only words of gratitude for their trust and for the way they have treated me."
Bojan had 106 appearances and 26 goals for Barcelona but decided to move on due to the extremely high competition for a first team place at the Camp Nou. He added: "Mark Hughes convinced me to come to Stoke, he has helped me and showed his trust in me from the beginning. He followed closely the recovery process from my injury and there is no doubt I have signed an extension of my contract thanks to him."
Stoke City are currently 11th in the Premier League table and they are 7/4 at Bet365 to clinch a top-half finish this season.

Bojan was a huge talent and potential big star of football but after his period at Barcelona he just couldnt find the wright club for him , not in Roma, Milano, Ajax and he really impressed this season for Stoke, he is 25 years old so i hope that best years for him are coming.

He was great for them in the seasons since his arriving from Barcelona, it was a good spell for both player and the club during that period so doesn't have to be a surprise that they decided to extend his deal. He's not one of the strongest physically players and there was concerns that he could play in PL at good level...

He's not one of the strongest physically players and there was concerns that he could play in PL at good level at the beginning of his career in England but obviously he's doing just fine.
