Manchester City have issued an official statement, confirming what has been rumoured for a a few months now: Pep Guardiola will be their manager after the end of the current season. The Spaniard has already agreed a three-year contract with the club. The 45-year-old coach is currently managing Bayern Munich but had already announced that he would not be seeking a contract extension with the German champions.
Manuel Pellegrini, aged 62, will continue to manage Manchester City until June 30. The club revealed that they had issued the official statement in order to ease the pressure on their current boss and also said that they had tried to appoint Guardiola back in 2012. At that time Italian Roberto Mancini was the manager of the club and the Citizens won the Premier League title that year.
Pellegrini took the job in 2013 and also managed to win the Premier League title, along with the League Cup. This season Manchester City are still in with a chance to win all four trophies: they are in the League Cup final, second-placed in the Premier League, and still involved in both the FA Cup and the Champions League.
Manchester City are 11/8 at Bet365 to win the Premier League title this season.

Call me crazy but I think Bayern playing with too many passes just the way Barcelona use to play under him and long before that too. City is a team who buys the glory, there's no other way for them to do it, so they buingy the best possible manager according to them. It almost certainly guarantees them results from next season but that will make me hate them even more, although I don't believe that's possible.

This is a very good news surely for the Citizens. But I think he will have one problem: Yaya Touré. The Ivorian international is on of the most important players for the Citizens but Guardiola doesn't like him. I think Pogba will replace him and Yaya will be a bench player in the next season and after that he will leave the club. Manchester City are a wealthy club and I think adding of Guardiola is a very wise decision and they will win the Champions League in the near future.

This man made a miracle with Barcelona .This is a big deal for Manchester City .Now they have bigger chances to win this title with Arsenal as their only opponent. Leicester will be further down as time goes by. Pellegrini is perhaps a good coach but not good enough for them. I do not like this news because I support Chelsea...

I do not like this news because I support Chelsea , which is in bad shape so I hope that sometime Diego Simeone will come and bring Griezman.
