Southampton will be looking to redeem themselves after last weekend's setback when they travel to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday. The Saints lost 3-0 to Manchester City on Sunday afternoon and another defeat could see them slip further down the table. Last time Arsenal faced Southampton the Saints pulled off a 2-1 win, that was back in September in the League Cup.
Arsenal grabbed a 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at the weekend thanks to a goal from Danny Welbeck, a good result coming after the comfortable win against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
Arsene Wenger has another injury crisis on his hands though as both Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs could be out of contention. Mathieu Flamini could be a makeshift left back while the two are sidelined. Southampton could be without Morgan Schneiderlin.

My prediction: Arsenal to win 2-1.

I think that now it is time for Southampton to get back in reality and lose some matches. They lost against Manchester city at home, here against arsenal, and they also didn't won against Manchester United . So in big matches they showed us that they are not able to compete for first four places and champions league.

This was a graet match. We saw great match by arsenal. They was better and at the end they score for 1-0 and they get their deserved win. Alexis Sanchez played very well and for me he is the best player in arsenal. Southampton lost two match in a row and I think that is time for them to get back in midle of table where...

Arsenal is big favorite for me in this match.I think Southampton must fall because they are not very good with this season roster.After lose against City in last round i think Southampton will lose today too.Prediction 2-0 or 2-1 for Arsenal

Southampton have great start that is true, but if you look better they played only with bad teams.. I don't count last match against man city and they lost that match 3-0 at home. So I think that all that wins and great play comes becouse of weak opponents, now we will see true about southampton and can they be in first...
