Chelsea have decided to sell midfielder Ramires to Chinese side Jiangsu Suning for around 25 million pounds. The 28-year-old Brazilian international had signed a new four-year contract with Chelsea in October but this season he only managed to start seven league matches.
Jiangsu is an ambitious club in the Chinese top flight, they finished ninth last season but they are aiming for silverware now. Their manager is former Chelsea defender Dan Petrescu. They already have former Italian international forward Amauri in their squad.
Ramires won several trophies with Chelsea: the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League and Europa League. He has played in 251 games for the Blues and scored 24 times. He was bought from Benfica for around 17 million pounds in 2010.
Chelsea are currently 13th in the Premier League table and they are 3/1 at Bet365 to clinch a top-six finish this season.

According to the news Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Nani are chased by Chinese clubs too. I think this a very bad news for MLS too because the old stars will join a Chinese club rather a U.S. one.
