Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri will not be able to play for his side until February due to a hamstring injury. The French midfielder, aged 28, has not played at all since a substitute appearance on 17 October when Manchester City defeated Bournemouth 5-1 in the Premier League.
Nasri posted a picture of himself on crutches on his Instagram account, with the following description: "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I will be back better than ever. See you in three months." He has made eight appearances this season and scored just one goal, in the 2-0 win at Everton in August. He has been in the starting eleven only two times since the start of the campaign.
Nasri joined Manchester City from Arsenal in the summer of 2011 for around 25 million pounds. He made 113 Premier League appearances for the club in the following four seasons and managed to score 16 goals. Last season he made just 21 Premier League appearances though, scoring 2 goals.
Manchester City are currently leading the Premier League table, tied on 26 points with Arsenal, and they are 10/11 at Bet365 to win the title this season.

Samir Nasri is very important member of the squad, cause even if he is not sometimes in the starting eleven,he always comes in as a substitute. He will be missed a lot.Bad luck for the Citizens.Good thing is the fact that Samir will be there when should be decisive matches in PL.

For sure not a good news for City despite the fact that Samir Nasri is not any more one of the starting eleven. But he's experienced player and Pellegrini could count on him in every tough game so it's a big loss for the team. This is not his first so worst injury, he was injured maybe a couple of times before and every...

But he's experienced player and Pellegrini could count on him in every tough game so it's a big loss for the team. This is not his first so worst injury, he was injured maybe a couple of times before and every time he returns to the field so no doubt that Nasri will play again for City this season.

In my opinion this is not a huge blow for Manchester City. Nasri is a very good player but not irreplaceable. David Silva can play in the same role as Nasri and in this case Sterling and de Bruyne can play on the wings. The main question is the striker role because Bony is injured while Aguero is questionable.

Maybe he need a break and when he will be back, he will be stronger and better. I think this player has that think that could make a difference in a match. In my opinion to stay out of field until February (almost 3 months) is a little bit long. He must demonstrate after this break that he is a good player.

I think that he is no longer the same Samir Nasri, who played phenomenally in Arsenal. Somehow he lost in the football map, injury and poor parties have him kicked out from the national team. Along with David Silva and Toure did the real engine of the team. Now he is just an ordinary player with a huge salary who lives...
