The US Attorney's Office publicly announced the federal conviction of two people in Oklahoma for their roles in a scheme involving illegal gambling.
53-year-old Kelly Dorn of Oklahoma City and 45-year-old Kory Koralewski of Parker, Colorado have been found guilty of racketeering conspiracy with sentencing to come. Dorn was also convicted of operating an illegal gambling business.
Evidence indicated the pair were involved with Legendz Sports, which accepted online and phone bets from Panama City, from 2003 to 2013.
The operation accepted over $1 billon in illegal bets primarily from the US on American sports. Dorn acted as a bookie in Oklahoma while Koralewski handled moving the money from the United States to Panama.
The FBI and Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigations began an investigation into the operation along with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Marshals Service.

Illegal sportsbetting is a very profitable business model at nowadays. In my opinion it's very hard to make profit in this industry. But those guys who prefer the high stakes to the low ones don't want to lose their money. I hope these guys will be in the jail for a couple of years or more as soon as possible.

Obviously these guys have had quite a successful scheme over the years but this is over now and probably they'll have to spend some years in jail.In fact the one guy was was a bookie and the other a carrier. Pretty simple but effective scheme I think but it's nice to hear that the authorities caught them and will take...
