Back Premier League: West Ham sign Alex Song, Victor Moses and Nikica Jelavic

West Ham have completed three signings on transfer deadline day: Barcelona midfielder Alex Song and Chelsea winger Victor Moses on season-long loan deals, plus Hull City striker Nikica Jelavic moving for around 3 million pounds.

Alex Song, aged 27, has also spent last season on loan with the Hammers, makinge 31 appearances in all competitions. Victor Moses has signed a new four-year contract with Chelsea but was sent out on loan once again by Jose Mourinho. Jelavic, aged 30, has signed a two-year contract with West Ham.

Song joined Barcelona in 2012 from Arsenal for 15 million pounds and has a hefty £63m release clause in his contract. He only managed to make 39 appearances for Barcelona though. "It was a very easy choice for me to come back and I'm very happy to be here," said Song. "I feel at home and my family do too. They're set up very well here and my kids are playing for West Ham academy."

West Ham are 3.25 at Bet365 to finish inside the Premier League top half this season.
