Daily fantasy sports activity has increased this year with punters depositing an average of $465 annually, based on stats from the Fantasy Sports Trade Association.
Despite this spike, major operators such as DraftKings and FanDuel have not yet reaped the benefits in terms of profit. Both companies are opted to put their time and money into marketing in order to build large player bases.
Analyst Adam Krejcik of Eiler's Research spoke to CNBC about daily fantasy sports activity:

Fantasy sports are becoming important things.Offer of fantasy sports is getting larger and larger every day.Draftkings are still the best for me,but they now have really good rivals.My favourite fantasy games are thos for Premier League and for World and European championships in basketball.
