Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko could leave the club this summer. Dzeko is with the Manchester City squad in their pre-season tour to Australia but did not play in Tuesday's match against Roma. The striker has been linked with a move to Italy, exactly at AS Roma.
Pellegrini said: "Edin didn't play the last game as it's not clear if he will continue here or not, but he is still working here with the whole squad." Dezko was bought by City from Wolfsburg in January 2011 for 27 million pounds and has signed a new four-year contract with the club last summer.
He only managed to score four Premier League goals last season as City finished second behind Chelsea. Manchester City have signed forward Raheem Sterling for 49 million pounds from Liverpool this summer and they also have three solid strikers in their squad: Sergio Aguero, Wilfried Bony and Stevan Jovetic.
Manchester City are 3.75 at Bet365 to win the Premier League next season.

Dzeko is good player ,but none of the players are etternal. He can leave Cty.Aguero is first choice for Manuel Pellegrini.Dzeko is not young anymore ,so this is still the time fot the bosses of Manchester City.to earn some money for him.He still can offer someting to the top clubs so there will be few interested sides.

Anyway City have two new players up front so he will get even fewer chances if he stays. I think it will be much better for him to leave and find a club where he will be regularly in the first eleven moreover there are not too many seasons ahead of him as a player.

I expected more from him in last season, this is not a surprise for me, I think that City needs big recapitulation before next season, think that they need one more strong and fresh striker, along with Jovetic and Aguero.
