Bayern Munich have confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Italian champions Juventus for the transfer of midfielder Arturo Vidal. Earlier this week Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta revealed that Vidal had requested to leave the club after winning four consecutive Serie A titles.
Bayern Munich chief executive Karl Heinz Rummenigge said: "I can confirm that we have reached an agreement with both parties, Juventus and the player. What is missing is the medical and the signature of the contract." Vidal has played in the Bundesliga before, spending four seasons with Bayer Leverkusen before joining Juventus.
The 28-year-old midfielder was the man of the match as Chile defeated Argentina on penalties to win the Copa America earlier this summer. Juventus have already parted company with Carlos Tevez, Andrea Pirlo and Angelo Ogbonna this summer. Bayern Munich have sold Bastian Schweinsteiger to Manchester United and also sold Xherdan Shaqiri, replacing him with Shakhtar Donetsk's Douglas Costa.

Arturo Vidal is one of the best footballers in the world at the moment.He is fantastic player.It is also important that he is true leader on the pitch.After the scandal in Copa America with driving with alcohol in blood he managed to overcome that and lead Chile to the title.

A great signing to Bayern Munich, no doubt Vidal is a great player, and that will definitely bring a lot of joy to the fans of Bayern. Vidal has done a great job playing for Leverkussen, I like your style of playing soccer, good luck and I hope to make a great season in Bundesliga!

I am not sure how good is this transfer for Arturo Vidal. He is an amazing player with great skills and ability, and also he is very aggressive in midfield. But, I think that Bayern is not so good choice for him. Maybe some Premier League team might better fit to him but he already made the choice. We will see how good...

Back to Germany, nice, I am watching their footbal more than Serie A, so I am happy that one of the best midfielder is transfering there. As a very BIG Juventus fan, and also very big fun of King Arturo, I can't explain how "disappointed" am I with this transfer. He is one of the best midfield players and if you ask me the biggest "worker" on the field. Anyway, I wish him all the best and many great games in his new team.
