Fenerbahce and Manchester United have agreed a four-year deal to sign Robin van Persie, according to Sky Sports. The transfer has not yet been officially announced though as it seems there are still some details to be ironed out with the player.
Fenerbahce director Guiliano Terraneo was in London recently to meet Manchester United executives. Robin van Persie has one year left on his contract at Old Trafford, so the time to sell would be now as they could lose him for free next summer. Former Manchester United winger Nani completed a move to Fenerbahce this week and he is looking forward to playing alongside Van Persie again. "I haven't had the chance to talk with Robin van Persie yet," Nani said. "But if he comes to Fenerbahce, I am sure that he will be very successful. I know Robin very well and it would be the right decision if Fenerbahce sign him."
Manchester United would have just three strikers left if Van Persie leaves: captain Wayne Rooney, youngster Hames Wilson and Javier Hernandez, who will return from his loan at Real Madrid. Hernandez won't be available for some time though after suffering a broken collarbone while playing for the Mexican national side.
Manchester United are 1.25 at Bet365 to finish inside the Premier League top four next season.

I totally agree with Shumar4life, what a great player is Robin van Persie. Now, if you ask me, he is about to make another big mistake and sign with Fenerbahce, which often can mean that he don't want to play at "high level" more and that he will retire very soon.

He is such a good player and I don't know why he left premier league, because I think that this move is step down in his career. I understand that he achieved his goal with title with Manchester United, but I believe that he has lot of more to give in top class football. Fenerbahce is not club for him

After Falcao and now van Persie, United will have very few attackers in the squad. I hope that rumors for Harry Kane transfer at Old Trafford will become reality or I don't know how they is going to play around 60 games next season with just three strikers. I hope that rumors for Harry Kane transfer at Old Trafford will become reality or I don't know how they is going to play around 60 games next season with just three strikers. It's a good move for Robin I think in the closing stages of his career, in Fenerbahce he will be able to play in the European tournaments too, so a good option for him.
