Back Premier League: Manchester City sign 18-year-old Turkish striker

Manchester City have completed the transfer of 18-year-old Turkish striker Enes Unal from Bursaspor. The two clubs have not disclosed the transfer fee. Unal has already made his debut for the senior Turkish national team. He has scored four goals in 37 appearances last season as Bursaspor finished sixth in the Turkish top flight.

He was one of the most impressive players in Turkey's junior national teams, scoring 24 goals in 25 games for the Under-16s side. He also holds the record for the youngest ever goalscorer in the Turkish top division, he scored in 2013 at the age of 16.

“Manchester City are pleased to announce the signing of Turkey international striker Enes Unal from @BursasporSk ,” the club tweeted. It seems that Unal had also attracted interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.

Manchester City are 3.75 at Bet365 to win the Premier League title next season.
