After a 10 month investigation, 8 men were arrested on Friday by Rockland, NY police for running an illegal online sports betting and loan sharking operation across 4 states.
Initially, the names of the men were not disclosed even though the police spokesmen indicated that they had ties to organized crime.
Police seized illegal gambling records, computers and over $750,000 after obtaining warrants in Florida, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
The names of those apprehended were eventually released and include Ronald Ayes, 71,Nicholas Farese, 51, Richard Herman, 75, Anthony Moschella, 75, Mark Moschella, 52, Peter Reda, 57, Vincenzo Red, 34, and John Reyes, 72.

It is always good for a state to arrest illegal gamblers.There is a lot of money that is lost by the country because of illegal gambling.Every government shoud hunt all the men that are organisating illegal gambling.If it is impossible to arrest them all,then government should think about changing the taxes and laws.
