Back Serie A: Juventus sign striker Paulo Dybala

Italian champions Juventus have signed Argentine striker Paulo Dybala from Palermo for 32 million euro. The 21-year-old forward has signed a five-year contract with Juventus. The young striker has scored 13 goals this campaign and has attracted interest from several big European clubs.

"Juventus are the side who wanted me the most," Dybala said. "They made a real effort to sign me and this is why I made my decision." Dybala had joined Palermo in the summer of 2012 from Instituto for a fee of 12 million euro. The deal taking him from Palermo to Juventus could rise to 40 million euro with add-ons.

Dybala added: "It will be impossible for me to forget everything I've experienced in three years at Palermo. I was happy from the very first day. I know that to play for Juve, I have to do much more and I'm sure I can improve a great deal." He has scored 21 goals in 90 appearances for Palermo.

Dybala was not called up to the Argentina national team for the 2015 Copa America, which starts on 11 June. Argentina are 3.00 at Bet365 to win the tournament.
