Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has admitted that he might be forced to look for a new goalkeeper as David De Gea is wanted by Real Madrid. The Spanish goalie picked up a knock during Sunday's 1-1 draw against Arsenal and he might miss the last match of the season at Hull City. Real Madrid want the 24-year-old to be the successor of Iker Casillas.
Van Gaal said he did not know if Real had made an offer yet, but added: "It is not easy to choose between two great clubs. We would be very happy if he stays. He is Spanish and his girlfriend is Spanish and he can go to another great club, so it is difficult for him to decide. David De Gea shall not leave us so easily because we are a great club and he wants to participate. He is still behind Casillas but now a Spanish club is coming."
Casillas did not play on Sunday at Espanyol and he might leave the club this summer. David De Gea has one more year left on his contract with Manchester United but the Dutch manager said he won't be offering him a new deal at the moment in order to persuade him to stay. "He knows everything that he has at Manchester United at this moment. I don't have to say anything for the benefit of Manchester United because he can feel everything. The crowd has been unbelievable. You have seen that reaction here. It has been unbelievable, for the team and for him individually. When he is going he is losing that because here he has a lot of credits."
Manchester United are 5.50 at Bet365 to win the Premier League next season.

Louis Van Gaal is not a top class manager!? And who is... Moyes...!? I do not agree with h34dhunt3r. In modern football big clubs want results immediately. Such as Real, Manchester... And they do not give a space for manager to building a team. About De Gea, my opinion is that he should stay in Manchester.

I totally agree with h34dhunt3r in anything that he said in the post, but I wonder when will come the moment for United management to realize all that .I will be very glad if they give a chance to Ryan Giggs to be the manager of the team but that probably will not going to happen until Van Gaal fails in yet another season....

De Gea was the far better player of United this season and they have to be crazy to send him in Real or the offer have to be really unbelievable.

Let's make something clear - Louis van Gaal is not top class manager. And one of those is needed since Manchester United is hard to manage, expectialy after depature of Ser Alex Ferguson, who was there for more then two decades. Dutch guy seems to be spending tons of money and don't even make it into top 3, which is a shame....

Now David De Gea (let's just say their star player in this season) will probably leave for Real Madrid. People already talking about replacements, some of them say it's going to be Petr Cech. But those rumors are insane, Jose Mourinho would never sell player like that to his rival club. If De Gea leaves, United will have to make remont of entire defensive line, like 200 millions just to keep your goal as safe as possible.

When Louis van Gaal become a Manchester United's manager all of us, especially their fans, expected that he will "reborn" the "Red Devils". He did that but I think that with that players that he have in his squad he should do it better. So now, like both members said before, it's kind a normal De Gea to leave United because...

This is normal situation for Manchester United. He has one more year contract and now is time to earn some money on his transfer. They will try all to keep him, but if he is strong and want to go, best option is Real Madrid. He will be first goalkeeper of Real and Spanish national team in next 10 years.

It is normal to loose players sometimes. If De Gea goes somewhere ManUn will get very much money for him.It would be smarter for Van Gaal to think about things he is doing in transfer window. His transfers were very bad.He spent enormous amount of money ,but even managed to make few mistakes.
