Back Bundesliga: Pep Guardiola happy to stay at Bayern Munich

Pep Guardiola insists he does not consider leaving Bayern Munich at the moment, following speculation he could replace Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City. Pellegrini is under fire after his side recorded an inconsistent run of results which put their title bid at risk. The Citizens are also in a difficult position in the Champions League after the last-16 first-leg home defeat to Barcelona.

Pellegrini has won two trophies during his first season in England but now it seems Guardiola, Carlo Ancelotti and Diego Simeone are linked as potential replacements. Guardiola has a contract with Bayern until the summer of 2016 and he dismissed talk of a move to the Premier League.

Here's what Guardiola said in a press conference: "Of course I'll stay here. I haven't had a contract offer and I am not waiting for a contract offer from anyone else. I'm happy here at Bayern - this is an outstanding club. I want to fulfil my contract and do my job well, that is all I am thinking about at the moment. I still have a year and a half left on my contract. We will sit together in the summer and then we'll see how things go. I can stay in this club five or six years even. This also depends on the players. I'm not the most important thing for the club."

Bayern, who were held to a goalless draw at Shakhtar Donetsk in the last-16 first leg, are 11/4 at Bet365 to win the Champions League this season.
