The legalization of online horse racing in Indiana looks promising as a result of Republican Representative Robert Cherry's efforts with bill HB1270.
The bill does not address other forms of gambling and Cherry says that the intrastate authorization for advanced deposit wagering was removed from the law in error and his bill simply corrects that.
Part of Cherry's argument is that there are thousands of Indiana residents currently betting on horse races with operators outside state lines meaning Indiana race tracks are missing out on the profits.
Cherry's bill will now be presented to the state Senate.

It could be very good thing for all the players.This is good thing also for the state,cause the state will now gain some money from the taxes of online betting.If it is not legal,players will probably find the way to bet illegaly,so country would have no income from betting.Players will bet easily ,state will get money,this is a win-win situation.
