Deutsche Telekom recently acquired the majority of Deutsche Sportwetten GmbH (DSW and plans to enter the Euro German sports betting market with the launch of an online sportsbook during Q1 2015.
DSW founder, Austrian Sportwetten GmbH, (OSW), continues to hold a minority share and said it “will not reinvent the theme of sports betting, now it has a partner on board for its debut in a fast-growing [online] market, a partnership that fits the strategy of Deutsche Telkom.”
With a license from German State of Hesse, DSW intends to roll out its sports betting offer on tipp3.de accepting wagers on professional sports only.

Even telecomunication companies are now interested in sportsbook market which shows how huge are the numbers in this bussines. But that is a part of the global bussines world and I'm sure that giants like Deutsche Telekom know exactly what are they doing and I expect this to be a successful move for them.

Deutsche Telekom is one of the best telecommunation companies in Europe.It is always expected from them to be somekind of trendesetters in their business.With this desicion they are becoming even better company. They are attracting new users on so many ways,which is fantastic job.
