Back UEFA Europa League: Tottenham vs Fiorentina preview

Tottenham's Europa League campaign continues on Thursday when the Spurs host Fiorentina at White Hart Lane in the first leg of their last-32 tie. Tottenham finished second in their group, just one point behind Group C winners Besiktas. Mauricio Pochettino's men won three of their group matches, drew two and lost one.

Fiorentina finished top in Group K, three points clear of second-placed Guingamp, after winning four of their six matches. Both sides have been performing well on the domestic scene lately and both are aiming for Champions League football next season. Tottenham are currently sixth in the Premier League after winning four of their last six matches while Fiorentina are currently fourth in the Serie A after a six-match unbeaten run.

There are no fresh injury concerns for Pochettino but the manager might choose to rest a few key players for this weekend's Premier League action. Fiorentina will be without striker Giuseppe Rossi and winger Federico Bernardeschi.

Probable line-ups:

Spurs: Lloris - Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose - Bentaleb, Mason - Lamela, Dembele, Eriksen - Kane

Fiorentina: Tatarusanu - Richards, Rodriguez, Savic, Alonso - Aquilani, Pizarro, Fernandez - Diamanti, Babacar, Gomez

My prediction: 1-1 draw.

Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Tottenham win - 23/20 Draw - 5/2 Fiorentina win - 13/5
