Barcelona face Atletico Madrid on Wednesday in the Copa del Rey quarter final second leg after having a secured a one-goal advantage in the first leg. Lionel Messi was the decisive man last week as he bagged a late goal to give Barca a 1-0 lead.
Atletico were defeated in the semi finals of the Copa del Rey last season by city rivals Real Madrid. Last weekend Diego Simeone's men secured a 3-1 league win over Rayo Vallecano, a result that keeps them in third place. They have won just two of their last five matches in all competitions though and have already been beaten twice by Barcelona this season.
Barcelona had fun last weekend, thrashing Elche 6-0 to secure their sixth consecutive win in all competitions. The Catalan giants have scored no less than 23 goals in this six-game spell and conceded just one. Atletico will be without star central defender Diego Godin, who is suspended, while Fernando Torres might start on the bench. Barcelona will most likely field their deadly trio in attack: Suarez, Messi and Neymar.

This game was nasty as hell. You could have felt fire in the air since first minute. But I guess that Torres scoring only 40 seconds into the game only fired both sides up. Great show tho, happy to see El Nino playing with a confidence once again.

That was really good match. We saw 5 goals and Barcelona won 2-3 and with score from first match Barca goes to the next round. I think this will be a close game between these two giants in Spanish football. Barcelona are the team in amazing shape but Atletico have a very good coach in face of Diego Simeone and they make life difficult for Barca and Real for the last couple of seasons and I don't think they will give up just yet.

This will be very good match. Their first match that was played on Camp Nou finished with result 1:0 for Barcelona, so this game I suppose will have more goals. Atletico Madrid is not as good as it was last year but they are still that strong to face Barcelona and even beat them. I'm sure that both teams will score, but...
