Back Club World Cup Final: Real Madrid vs San Lorenzo preview

Legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas will make his 700th club appearance for Real Madrid on Saturday when the Spanish giants face San Lorenzo in the Club World Cup final. Real secured an easy 4-0 victory in the semi final against Cruz Azul while San Lorenzo had a tough time against Auckland City but won 2-1 after extra time.

"I don't think I have anything to prove – what I've done in my career is there for everyone to see," Iker Casillas told FIFA.com. "By playing games I'll hopefully get my confidence back to where it used to be, which is what excites me more than anything. I feel on a high."

Casillas saved a penalty in the semi final, the score was 2-0 at that moment. "If it had gone to 2-1, it might have been a whole different ball game," Casillas said. "Goalies always try to help their team at crunch moments like that. Luckily I dived the right way and I'm happy because the team were able to relax and see it out comfortably."

Real Madrid are enjoying a winning streak of 21 matches in all competitions, just three wins short of the world record currently held by Brazilian side Curitiba. Real Madrid have never won the FIFA Club World Cup before, and neither have San Lorenzo. In fact, no Argentinian club has ever won this competition.

Here are the odds for Saturday's final at Bet365:

Real Madrid win - 1/10 Draw - 17/2 San Lorenzo win - 20/1

My prediction: Real Madrid to win 4-1.
