Premier League: Manchester City's Edin Dzeko suffers "serious injury"

Without any doubt Edin Dzeko is a great player and important goalscorer for hes teams. But he was mostly at the bench in the recent months and even when he was healthy enough, the City manager Pellegrini not used him often. Some people said that Dzeko is underestimated and I think this is true especially for hes own manager.

Edin Dzeko is a great footballer. And his injury cost a lot Manchester City and national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Everyone believes that Manchester will win when Dzeko is ready for any match,so BIH team believes in Dzeko. That was bad luck for Dzeko and his team, but know i think everything is OK.

@u-praksi I also think that this is bigger problem for Bosnia and Herzegovina than for manchester city. He is best player of his national team and anly real striker and I think that it will be noticable in their play that they are without Dzeko. City can make some change in their squad and I think that they won't notice...

Wow... This is not good news for us (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Edin Džeko is our best player and his injury can be a big problem for next game against Israel. Bosnia and Herzegovina must win and without Džeko it's gonna be very tough. Man City has a very good strikers and Džeko injury is not such terrible news because...

This is the most underestimated player in English Premier league. He is very important for Manchester City and I am sure that blue squad will miss him in next matches. With Aguero he is constant threat for opponents defenders, and this must be huge reliefe for all Premierleague's golkeapeers

This is terrible thing for Manchester City.Dzeko is very good player and surely thats big lose for City.Negredo is not here but maybe Jovetic can explode and play like Dzeko.However City on end of a season can be second and i think no way to take title.

Manchester city is in bad form at the moment and this dzeko's injury is bad thing for them but I think that won't affect on their play too much. They have aguero and few other players who can play as well as dzeko and if they are good Manchester city won't feel that dzeko isn't there.

Manchester City got unluck that Edin Dzeko got injury. He didn't score much goals but he did a lot of goal passes to his team mates. In this season he isn't in his real form/knowladge he can easly score 15 goals/year. I hope he returns as quickly as possible he should deserve it.

It is unfortunately for Manchester City that they gave Negredo on loan. Now they can rely on Aguero who is in amazing form and Jovetic who is still trying to find his optimal form of play. Nastasic is not in first neither second option in Pelegrinis plans. And Demichelis is old at my opinion.
