UEFA Champions League: Bayern Munich vs Roma preview

Bayern did it again. Ribery kicked some a**es on this match. Roma was so scared not to get demolished like 7-1 last match was. That's why bayern had high percantage of ball possesion. It's real miracle how they scored "only" two goals on this match. They deserved much more. Go on Bayern!!

Bayern Munich is great team and they showed that again against Roma. They are playing very well this season both in their national league and in Champions League. If they continue like this, they have big chances to win both this leagues.

I actually think,that this Bayern Munich play is much more different from Barcelona's play under Pep Guardiola.Germans have some similarities to tiki-taka style,but they are more direct,all the time they are looking for space to get closer to ball.They try longer balls much more than Catalans did.

@schuber26 you mean that bayern did 679 short passes against Roma's 217. And that is not surprise becouse we all know bayern's style of play. But i think that this year with this style of play bayern can't be so dominated like last year and I think that they should change something in their game becouse more and more teams...

Yeah, Xabi Alonso is great player and he is doing good job in the middle. But, Real gets Kroos last summer and does fantastic job. Kroos is younger, in better shape and, for me, better player. After that Guardiola made good job and bring Xabi to Bayern. Last night he was awesome, good game for him.

Mdacic,You are right about Xabi Alonso,he is fantastic player.I really cant understand why Real Madrid sold him,he would still find the place in their team,especially because season is long,there is lot of matches,injuries are possible.He is doing fantastic job at Bayern,but I would not considere him as key player.

Bayer was playing their typical game. They had ball possession thirty meters away from Roma's goal, and in that game no one team can not win against Bayern. Remember last year, Real won in Munich with big pressure all over pitch. And Roma was unable to do that, so deserve win to Bayern.

Tonight we saw another domination by Bayern Munich.They played easily,they were just playing as good as it needs to win this match.They are far better team than AS Roma.they showed stability in defence,Roma had only one chance,at the end of the game.Good job for Guardiola again.

You are right they will be first group,I have to admit that I have expected that immediately after draw.They much more stable team than three other teams in this group.It will be very interesting to see who will be second in the group and get through to the knockout stage.
