New Jersey has had difficulties rolling out legal intrastate sports betting spending a lot of money trying to bypass the federal Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act, which limits sports betting to Delaware, Nevada, Oregon and Montana.
Vernon Kirk, the director of the Delaware Lottery, revealed that the state generated millions from sports betting in 2013.
Delaware's population is one tenth of New Jersey's and media interviews with betting outlets revealed that visitors from nearby states increase business. Punters scoring more than 600 must make a trip to one of the racinos to cash giving operators a chance to lure them in with more entertainment, dining and betting. Overall, sports betting is on the rise in Delaware.

I agree with daniel. I know in my country that a children maybe 12 or 13 years old place bets ilegal. And I think that is serious problem. Becouse in that age they don't know to appreciate money and later when they get old they also will ackt like that and this could be desaster for them and their family. So I am not happy...

I think that sports betting is rising everywhere,not only in Delaware.Today you can make every bet you can think off,There is so much possibilities and that is the thing that attracts players.Also,the improvement of the internet and the fact that it is now available for everyone makes sports betting even easier for people.
