Back UEFA Champions League: Roma vs Bayern Munich preview

German champions Bayern Munich will be looking to maintain their 100% record in this season's Champions League as they travel to face Group E rivals Roma on Tuesday. Guardiola's men are top of the group before the match, two points clear of Roma who have recorded a win and a draw so far.

Bayern have not been spectacular in the first two matches though, they have defeated Manchester City and CSKA Moscow by the same score line: 1-0. French winger Franck Ribery could be given a place in the starting eleven after coming off the bench in the 6-0 win over Werder Bremen last weekend. Goalie Pepe Reina is still unavailable, and so is Thiago Alcantara due to yet another ankle injury.

Roma will be determined to avoid defeat in order to remain above Manchester City in the group table. The home side will be without Seydou Keita due to a calf muscle injury. The two teams have met in the 2010-2011 edition of the Champions League, also at the group stage, and each side won at home.

Probable starting line-ups:

Roma: Skorupski - Maicon, Manolas, Yanga-Mbiwa, Cole - Pjanic, Nainggolan - Gervinho, Totti, Florenzi - Destro

Bayern Munich: Neuer - Alaba, Boateng, Dante, Bernat - Lahm, Alonso - Ribery, Robben, Muller - Lewandowski

My prediction: 2-2 draw.

Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Roma win - 11/4 Draw - 11/4 Bayern win - 21/20
