Back Primera Liga: Levante vs Real Madrid preview

Real Madrid will be looking extend their Primera Liga winning streak to five games when they visit Levante on Saturday. Carlo Ancelotti and his men won their last four matches to recover from a slow start to the campaign and the winning streak took them to fourth place in the league table, four points behind leaders Barcelona.

Cristiano Ronaldo has played a big part in that winning streak as he bagged no less than 13 goals in his last six games for the club and also scored for Portugal on Tuesday. James Rodriguez and Karim Benzema have also scored on international duty, while Gareth Bale played very well for Wales in their victory over Cyprus. Sami Khedira will miss out through injury while Sergio Ramos is in doubt due to a calf issue, so Raphael Varane could take his spot in defence.

Levante are struggling just above the relegation zone, with just one win out of their opening seven matches. However, they nearly got all three points last time out but were denied by a stoppage-time equaliser from Eibar. They have scored just four goals this season, three of them in the match against Eibar, and have the worst goal difference in the league: -15.

Probable starting line-ups:

Real: Casillas - Carvajal, Pepe, Varane, Marcelo - Kroos, Modric - Ronaldo, James, Bale - Benzema

Levante: Diego - Lopez, Rodas, Vintra, Lopez - Ivanschitz, Diop, Camarasa, Garcia Santos - Victor, Morales

My prediction: Real Madrid to win 4-0.

Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Levante win - 12/1 Draw - 13/2 Real Madrid win - 1/6
