Everton make their return to European football at Goodison Park on Thursday evening when they host Wolfsburg in Europa League Group H. The Toffees haven't played in an European competition since 2009-2010, this time they qualified directly for the group stage after finishing fifth in the Premier League last season.
Roberto Martinez and his men had a decent start to their Premier League campaign, with one win, one defeat and two draws. Wolfsburg have done slightly worse so far in the Bundesliga, taking just two points out of the possible nine.
Sylvain Distin and Samuel Eto'o will be available for the match after having recovered from injuries. Bryan Oviedo and Arouna Kone will remain out of contention, but they should be back to match fitness fairly soon. Wolfsburg will be without Ivan Perisic due to a shoulder injury, but key players Luiz Gustavo, Kevin De Bryune and Ivica Olic are all expected to start.

Wolfsburg: Benaglio - Jung, Naldo, Knoche, Rodriguez - Malanda Adje, Gustavo - Caligiuri, Arnold, De Bruyne - Olic

Two big clubs... But I don't know why odd on everton is so big. I mean yes, wolfsburg is nice team but everton on goodison park is great great... They all ussualy better than chelsea or arsenal at home and I think thtat tonight they will win 2-0 or 3-0 .. easy. England is england and everton is great premier league team

I think that this is the best game today... Two big clubs, duels between german and english clubs are always interesting, both teams are candidats for big thing, everything is possible, maybe one of this teams will be the winner, they have quality, in this game I think that Everton will win, at home they should be favourites...
